Meijer has issued a recall for a novelty Halloween projector flashlight because it poses a burn hazard. This recall involves a Signature Designs Halloween image projector. The projector is a flashlight with cap that holds special lenses to project messages and images onto a wall or other surfaces.

Baby wipes sold at popular retail stores like Walgreens and Sam's Club have been recalled due to potential bacteria. This is a related to an advisory on the wipes that was released by Sam's Club earlier this month.

Officials are warning the public that some Serrano peppers distributed by Meijer stores in Michigan are potentially contaminated with salmonella.

Sam's Club has issued an advisory on baby wipes that have been sold at their stores. They say that some Simply Right Baby Wipes sold since June of this year may be contaminated with b-cepacia bacteria.

General Motors is recalling 117,000 vehicles for a problem that could in the vehicle stalling or not starting. GM said that it is not aware of any crashes, injuries, or fatalities connected to this issue. The issue only actually affects a small number of the 117,000 cars and trucks being recalled, according to GM.

Ford Motors says they are recalling 850,000 cars because of the risk of a short circuit that could prevent the air bag from deploying in the event of a crash. Thus far, they are not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the problem.

Though we don't have and IKEA store here in West Michigan, I know many who have traveled to the closest stores to buy furniture and other things from the popular store, so I thought I should pass this information along. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of IKEA children’s swings stating that they pose a fall hazard.
