Shia LaBeouf reportedly checked himself into a rehab in Hollywood this afternoon, June 30.

The rehab news follows the 28-year-old's arrest last Thursday, after he became loud and disruptive while attending a performance of the Broadway show ‘Cabaret.’ He was released the following day, and retreated to his Hollywood Hills home until today.

X17Online has reported that the actor admitted himself to a treatment facility popular among celebrities. The website's photographer, who allegedly captured photos of the ‘Transformers’ star carrying the Alcoholics Anonymous text ‘The Big Book,’ relayed info on his behavior: “Shia was nervous; he didn’t look good all morning. He was looking down and wasn’t even talking to his driver. It looked like he didn’t want to do it, but he knew he had to.”

Assumptions aside, it’s commendable that Shia recognized he wants help and that he then sought professional treatment. There has been no confirmation as of yet on whether he was admitted for in- or out-patient treatment.

Per CBS, Shia is due in court on July 24 to handle his charges of disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and harassment from his ‘Cabaret’ arrest.
