Dole is recalling certain varieties of bagged salad because of concerns about listeria contamination. This is salad that may be in your fridge or freezer, so check it out when you get home.

The Dole products being recalled are:

  • Dole Italian Blend with UPC code of 7143000819
  • Fresh Selections Italian Style Blend with UPC code of 1111091045
  • Little Salad Bar Italian Salad with UPC code of 4149811014
  • Marketside Italian Style Salad with UPC code of 8113102780

All are coded A058201A or B and have a "use by" of March 12, 2014.

Look in the upper right-hand corner of the package to find codes and "use by" dates and on the back below the barcode for the UPC code.

It's important to note that no illness has been reported in connection with these products, this is a precautionary recall prompted by one sample of salad.
