There's a new recall today for BeBeLove Baby Walkers. These were NOT sold in retail stores in Michigan, but were widely available on Amazon and Overstock.

It's important to note there have been NO injuries or deaths reported because of these items; the recall is because there is potential for babies to be injured or killed.

The recall is because certain BebeLove Walkers fail to meet federal safety standards. If you have a BebeLove walker, look for model number 358 or 368. It will have a green, pink or orange musical tray with a white or yellow toy bar and either a solid colored seat or a printed patterned seat. Look at the bottom of the walker base and you'll find the model number on a label on the rear bottom inside of the base.

From CPSC.gov:

Specifically, style number 358 can fit through a standard doorway and is not designed to stop at the edge of a step as required by the federal safety standard. In addition, style number 368 contains leg openings that allow the child to slip down until the child’s head can become entrapped at the neck. Babies using these walkers can be seriously injured or killed.

More information on the recall is HERE from CPSC.gov.
