Facebook is rolling out what is basically its own version of TimeHop.

The social media network just unveiled a cool new feature called On This Day, and it's simple: It just shows you your posts and photos from the same date in previous years. You know, just like TimeHop.

You can check it out by going to facebook.com/onthisday, but Facebook still hasn't rolled it out to all it users yet. So, you might not yet have access.

Remember back when Facebook rolled out a Year in Review feature, and some people were pretty upset at them for including photos of past relationships and even friends who died?

Facebook learned from that mistake, I guess.

So, they've created a special algorithm for On This Day that filters out posts and photos that might show you things you don't necessarily want to be reminded of.
