Hannah Marie Amaro, the 14-year-old girl missing since Saturday from Marshall, was located with a 29-year-old man at an Atlanta-area hotel on Tuesday.

The girl was located by authorities at a hotel in Georgia Tuesday afternoon, Marshall Police Chief Jim Schwartz said during a press conference Tuesday evening. She appeared to be fine, according the the Chief, but will be checked out at a hospital.

Hannah had was last seen Saturday around 10 a.m. She was reported missing by her on Monday. The time lapse was explained Tuesday afternoon in a press conference as being the result of misunderstanding by Hannah’s famil.

“Hannah, if you are watching this, we love you and we miss you and we just want you to come home,” Hannah’s mother Amy Ellis said during the news conference around 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old man she was found with will most likely face charges both Georgia and Michigan, according to Michigan State Police Lt. Chuck Christensen. Georgia has laws about transporting minors across state lines and criminal sexual conduct charges may also be filed in the Atlanta area dependent on the results of Amaro's medical exam.

Marshall police enlisted the assistance of other law enforcement agencies in their search including the Michigan State Police and the FBI.
