Reports of flu-like symptoms in Michigan remained steady and at seasonal highs according to the latest report from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Flu levels are the highest of the season, but still near average or even low when compared to other recent flu seasons.

The southwest region of Michigan, which includes West Michigan, continued to have very low reports of flu-like symptoms from hospitals and doctor's offices.

A total of 129 patient visits due to flu-like symptoms were reported out of 12,447 office visits in Michigan.
