Mel Trotter Ministries Serving More Moms and Children

Mel Trotter Ministries is serving more mothers and children than in previous years and as compared to other shelters throughout the United States.

This year's Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM) "Snapshot Survey" showed a 1% overall increase nationally of mothers and children staying in a rescue mission.  But at Mel Trotter Ministries, there was an 11% increase from 2012 to 2013.

Rev. Chico Daniels, President and CEO of Mel Trotter says "This survey is very beneficial for Mel Trotter Ministries. When we know the demographics and struggles of our guests, we can create programs that will be the most applicable to helping them get out of the homeless cycle."
