If it's a friendly cat you're looking for, look no further.

Meet Franklin from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is "Purrrfect Friday," where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home. This week we're spotlighting Franklin.

Franklin's journey to Crash's Landing has been a long one and he's made many friends along the way.

Franklin was born in June 2010. He was found as a stray by a 90-year-old woman in 2011. She brought him to a shelter. They tested Franklin and discovered he was FIV positive. In August 2011, they contacted Crash's Landing because they knew no one could take better care of him.

Crash's Landing took in Franklin in September 2011.

Franklin traveled over three hours to get to his new home at Crash's Landing.

Now, he's ready for another trip.
