Crash's Landing has been helping cats find homes for over ten years. Every cat has special needs when looking to find a permanent home, Black Betty is no different.

Meet Black Betty and see if she or another cat at Crash's Landing is a perfect fit for you!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Black Betty.

Black Betty was born in spring of 2010. She first came to Crash's Landing a few years later.

Earlier this year there appeared to be a happy ending to Black Betty's story when she was adopted and placed in a home, but it wasn't meant to be.

Black Betty had grown so accustomed to the surroundings at Crash's Landing that she wasn't comfortable in her new setting. She spent most of her time in hiding. She came back to Crash's Landing a month later.

Once again, Black Betty is looking for a new home. Her new home has to be a perfect fit to match her specific needs. Maybe your home is the perfect match? If not, there are dozens of other cats at Crash's Landing looking for a loving home.

Please adopt from Crash's Landing!
