This time of year chocolate bunnies get all the attention, but it's the cats at Crash's Landing that provide years of happiness.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped over 2,500 cats, but there is still work to be done.

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.  This week we're spotlighting Pookie:

Pookie was born in June of 2005.  She is small, at just 7 pounds.  But don't let that fool you.  She more than makes up for her small size with a big personality!

Pookie originally came to Crash's Landing in 2006 and was quickly adopted.  Pookie's owner became ill and Crash's Landing took Pookie in again in 2011.

Pookie has required care for gingivitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Feline Idiopathic Cystitis.  Of course, Crash's Landing has always provided all the care she needs.
