LaughFest Opens Registration for Community Showcase Opportunities in 2015

LaughFest brings the biggest names in comedy to Grand Rapids, but local talent also plays a huge role in the event each year.

Opportunities to participate in LaughFest 2015 are now open for kids and adults.

In 2015, LaughFest will host over 100 community showcase events from March 5 - 15 in Grand Rapids, Holland, and Lowell.

Opportunities include: stand-up comedy, dance, kids joke night, music, sketch/improv, college stand-up, college sketch/improv, and short film.

Registration opened on Wednesday. Here is the rest of the timeline:

• Applications close on December 8, 2014
• Notification of acceptance sent out January 5, 2015
• Signup for venue and time opens January 5, 2015
• Signup for venue and time closes January 24, 2015

All community showcase events are free and non-ticketed.
