Lance Armstrong will be in Kalamazoo tonight to honor the bicyclists who lost their lives in the crash on June 7.

All are invited to ride along, from Kalamazoo to Plainwell and back, as Armstrong rides the path that the bicyclists intended to ride on June 7.

Armstrong posted this message on his Facebook page Monday morning:

It has been a tough week for America. So senseless and so shocking. My thoughts are with everyone during this tragic time.

I'm headed to Kalamazoo tomorrow (6/14) to be with the Chain Gang to honor the 5 cyclists who lost their lives in Kalamazoo last week and ‪#‎finishtheride‬. The gang and I will keep their Tuesday evening tradition going and not let this awful tragedy stop us from doing what we love to do and that's to be out on our bikes. I did not know these people. I had never heard of the Chain Gang Club. But I know that fear. That fear of bike vs motorist. I think all of us know that. I'll be there to show solidarity and support for them and their entire community. Feel free to come along, everybody is welcome.

The ride will start at 6:30PM at the Kalamazoo County Health Services parking lot at 3299 Gull Road in Kalamazoo.
