The collapse of a temporary stage structure at The Indiana State Fair killed several people and injured dozens more Saturday.

High winds blew the stage down onto fans at the Sugarland concert just after opening act Sara Bareilles had finished. A thunderstorm was moving in, but the wind gust seemed to be localized to the grandstand area as nearby vulnerable structures were left intact.

Emergency responders and bystanders rushed in to help. The Indiana Governor and other officials comment in this video from WISH channel 8 Indianapolis.
