I'm not sure how this one slipped by us, but I want to correct that right now.  This video is worth 5 minutes of your time.  It's fantastic.

The video comes from a guy in Chicago named Peter Vitale.  The video is from Valentine's Day, when most people spend inordinate amounts of money on people they (in theory) treat well every single day.

Peter didn't have a significant other on which to spend time or money, so he instead bought breakfast, coffee and chocolates for the homeless men he passes every day on his way to work.

He posted video of this on YouTube, showing the signs of the homeless and his interactions with them.  He told NBC Chicago that he wanted the homeless guys "to know that someone out there cares."

I'm often skeptical of the "homeless" that panhandle in downtown Grand Rapids and, I believe, rightfully so.  But maybe things like this could happen more often and maybe we'd all start treating each other a little better.

Check out the video.  Powerful stuff.
