State police have announced that they have one suspect in custody in connection with the I-96 shootings.  The report came early Tuesday morning with few details and the police have scheduled a press conference for later in the day.

Police arrested the Wixom resident late Monday night and have taken him in to custody.  Police have been looking for the suspect since the shootings began on October 16th.

WDIV got a quote from a neighbor of the suspect:

“Police were everywhere. You could see to lights flashing. You knew something wasn’t right. For everyone’s safety. But I hope they have the guy. My wife drives that road everyday”

If you have any information on the shootings, call 800-773-2587 or 248-624-6114.
