Hudsonville Christmas Parade Nov. 23, Tree Lighting Dec. 3

Hudsonville is getting in the Christmas spirit with two big annual Christmas celebrations coming up in downtown Hudsonville.

The Hudsonville Area Chamber of Commerce says the 26th annual Hudsonville Holiday Parade is Saturday, Nov. 23 at 10:00 a.m.

The parade travels from Highland Dr., along 32nd Ave., to Central Blvd., before ending at Terra Square with a community party. The party includes:

• Photos with Santa
• Games and crafts
• Hot chocolate, coffee and cookies
• An elf on stilts making balloon animals

The Hudsonville Christmas Tree Lighting will take place Tuesday, Dec. 3. from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in downtown Hudsonville by the fountain.

Events include:

• Horse and carriage rides
• Candy cane ring toss
• Live reindeer
• Ohana Dance Company performing at 5:15 p.m.
• Carolers singing classic Christmas songs before the tree lighting
