The floor of the glass ledge on the 103rd floor of Chicago's Willis Tower cracked with people on it on Wednesday.

All are fine, but not without a bit of a scare.

Willis Tower officials say there's no need to worry.

ABC News reports:

Officials at the Willis Tower said it was the protective coating covering the four glass bays known collectively as The Ledge that was breaking. A statement from the building's management said the coating, which occasionally cracks, does not affect the "structural integrity" of the ledge.

But officials at the Willis Tower said the four ledges were temporarily closed for "routine inspection." The rest of the Skydeck remained open.

No need to worry, just a "routine inspection".

If you visit, consider letting someone else step out before you.

It would be the polite thing to do.
