Here at The River, we're always looking for information to help keep your family safe.  That's why I wanted to give you a heads up about another vehicle recall.  This one is for Ford vehicles out of concern for leaky fuel tanks creating a fire hazard.

The recall is for 2013 Fusion, Explorer, Taurus, Flex and Police Utility and Interceptor models. It also covers 2013 Lincoln MKS, MKT and MKZ.

It's important to note that no fires or crashes have been reported because of the problem.  There were reports of customers smelling gas or seeing fuel leaking to the ground that lead to this recall. Ford says "a fuel delivery module could leak, resulting in a gasoline odor and possible fuel spills."

Owners will be notified by mail and can take their vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer for service.

Here's the entire documentation from the NHTSA.
