Red Cross Blood Drives – Week Of February 24th 2014

The American Red Cross needs your help to replenish blood supplies in West Michigan.  The the brutal winter weather caused the Great Lakes Region to cancel over over 60 blood drives, causing a severe shortage of donations and supplies.

All blood types are needed. Donors with O negative, O positive, A negative or B negative blood are especially needed.  And blood platelets are also urgently needed; they are a key component to blood clotting and must be transfused within five days of donation, meaning they are constantly needed.
