Detroit Lion Nate Burleson Releases Pictures Of Wrecked Car, Infamous Pizza [Photos]

Detroit Lion wide receiver Nate Burleson broke his arm in a car accident on September 24 after becoming distracted while driving.

Today, Burleson released pictures of his car and the pizza that distracted him.

He also explained his reasons for releasing the pictures.

The accident occurred at about 2:25am on September 24.  Burleson tried to grab some pizza that was falling, became distracted, and crashed into the median.

Alcohol was not a factor.

I'm releasing these pix for 2 reasons: 1) I walked away from a totalled vehicle #Blessed 2) I have to hear all the pizza jokes...lol I'll start-Yes I am the 5th Ninja Turtle. #LovePizza #LetTheJokesBegin

Good to see Nate's feeling well and keeping a sense of humor about the whole thing.
