The man charged with killing his two children, and two stepchildren, and torturing his wife in Dearborn Heights earlier this week somehow managed to get a job at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport and had TSA clearance, WDIV reports.

Gregory V. Green is charged with torturing his wife, by tying her up, cutting her face and shooting her in the foot, and then shooting her two teenage children in front of her. He is also facing charges for allegedly killing his 4 and 5-year-old daughters via carbon monoxide poisoning.

Green appeared in court on Thursday and told the judge that he didn't deserve bond.

After Green was arrested, it was revealed that he had served 16 years in prison for murdering his pregnant wife back in 1991.

So, how did he get TSA clearance? Well... according to a statement given to WDIV by his employer, Sky Chefs, Green had worked for them for about a year. When he was hired, they did a TSA background check, but that check only goes back ten years. They found nothing in the past ten years that raised any red flags.
