Wocket's story is one of survival and beating the odds.

Sadly, it's not one that's unfamiliar to the fine folks at Crash's Landing.

But YOU have the power to give this story a happy ending.

Can you adopt Wocket?

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped over 2,500 cats, but there is still work to be done.

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.  This week we're spotlighting Wocket.

Wocket was born in March 2008.  When he first came to Crash's Landing in 2011 he was very sick.  He only weighed 5 pounds.

Wocket had been dropped off at an animal hospital to be euthanized, but workers at the hospital saw potential in him. They treated him as a rescue and contacted Crash's Landing.

Wocket had a long list of health issues, but he has been treated with care and love by the staff at Crash's Landing. His battle to health has been a long one. Now, Wocket is ready to join your family!
