Summer is officially here.  It's a time to relax and enjoy the company of friends and family.  It's also the perfect time to add another member to your family by adopting a cat from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped over 2,500 cats, but there is still work to be done.

Cleo needs your help.

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.  This week we're spotlighting Cleo.

It's estimated that Cleo was born in 2007.  When she first came to Crash's Landing she required a lot of attention.  She needed work on her teeth and ears, plus treatment for an uncommon parasite.

Cleo is a fun cat!  She is adventurous and always full of energy, yet she finds the time to remain very affectionate.  There is no doubt that Cleo would keep your family smiling!  Can you provide a home for Cleo?

Please consider adopting Cleo.  Help Crash's Landing achieve their goal of finding safe, loving, permanent homes for all of their animals.  Read Cleo's story.

In addition to adopting a cat, you can also help Crash's Landing by becoming a volunteer.  No matter how busy your schedule, there is a volunteer opportunity for you and volunteer shifts are completely flexible.  Most shifts are 2 to 4 hours and volunteers can work once a week, once a month, or whatever works for you.
