Over the last few months, my wife and I have spent a ton of time on Craigslist looking for a place to live.  Unfortunately, the legitimate ads are constantly surrounded by items that are clearly scams.

So imagine my surprise when I saw that a Craigslist scammer was arrested right here in GR!  Yay!

Admittedly, he wasn't scamming in the home section where it would affect me, but the fact he was scamming people is what really upsets me.  To you, Mr. Scammer, HAHAHAHA.  I hope you get sent to prison for a long time.

From the story on WOODTV.COM:

In 2009, Hatter allegedly put an ad on craigslist for a babysitter. He would then get personal information and money from potential candidates for a background check. Then he would disappear.

Police said in 2009 that Hatter may have been involved in similar crimes in a half dozen states.
