Crash's Landing has rescued thousands of cats in West Michigan. Those cats all have unique needs and personalities. Some have unique names too, like OMG Becky.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting OMG Becky.

Let's get right to the story behind OMG Becky's name. It involves a couple of coworkers at Crash's Landing, a love for music and the lyrics from "Baby Got Back." We'll just leave it at that.

OMG Becky was born in the fall of 2014. She was abandoned by her owners sometime in late 2015. After over a year in the neighborhood she was finally taken in from the cold winter. The person who took her in wasn't able to keep her, but they were able to find her a place at Crash's Landing.

OMG Becky loves head rubs and back scratches. Really she's a big fan of all of the attention she's gotten at Crash's Landing. She loves attention from every person she meets, but she's not a big fan of sharing her time with other cats.

OMG Becky would do excellent in a home where she is the only cat.

Please adopt her!
