Crash's Landing saved Mija from the cold of winter, but her journey is not over yet. Mija needs a home to call her own.

Please adopt Mija.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Mija.

Mija was left homeless in February 2015 after her owners moved out of their trailer and left her behind. A neighbor took Mija into their home after seeing what had happened. Soon, Crash's Landing came to help Mija and bring her to their facility.

Mija had fleas, internal parasites and she tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Crash's Landing immediately gave her all of the care she needed.

Mija brings a lot of attitude in a small package. She's not one to let a bigger cat push her around. She lets them know who's in charge! When it comes to people, Mija shows her softer side and she loves to be held.

Please adopt Mija!
