Crash's Landing has helped hundreds of cats find homes in West Michigan, but they can't do it alone.

Please consider doing your part by adopting Gaius from Crash's Landing!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Gaius.

Gaius was found as a stray on May 29, 2013. The woman who found him had him tested and discovered that Gaius is FIV positive. Next, Gaius was put on the waiting list at Big Sid's, which is Crash's Landing's home for FIV positive cats.

On October 14, 2013, Big Sid's had room and was able to welcome Gaius as their newest resident.

The first thing everyone notices about Gaius is his personality. Gaius is very social, energetic and outgoing. It's hard to imagine a household in which Gaius wouldn't thrive!

Please adopt Gaius!
