Now that we've made it past the holidays, it's time to relax and enjoy winter.

There's no better way to have fun this winter and beyond, than with a new friend from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped over 2,500 cats, but there is still work to be done.

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week we're spotlighting Boggs.

Boggs was born in 2006. He was taken in by another cat shelter when he was a stray.

Boggs had a tough time adjusting at first.  He wasn't used to his new surroundings and he had a number of health issues.  Through lots of patience and care Boggs has come around.

Boggs is FIV-positive, which is why he ending up with Crash's Landing. Big Sid's Sanctuary at Crash's Landing specializes in care for FIV-positive cats.

Today, Boggs is a happy and friendly cat. All he needed was someone to care for him.

Can you give Boggs another chance and adopt him?

Can't adopt, but still want to help?
