December is here bringing holiday parties, parades, shopping and cold weather.

Crash's Landing has saved another cat from trying to survive a cold, West Michigan winter. Now all she needs is someone to adopt her.

Please adopt Astoria.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Astoria.

Astoria was born in November of 2015 in a barn in Allendale. On July 26, 2016, Astoria arrived at Crash's Landing and they've loved her from the first moment she arrived. In fact, Dr. Jen offers this explanation of her name:

  • A = adorable
  • S = silly
  • T = transcendent
  • O = outrageously outgoing
  • R = ravishing
  • I = incredible
  • A = amazing

Astoria has had some health struggles along the way, but is doing well and has a ton of fans. You'll find her regularly featured on Crash's Landing's social media pages due to her silly antics.

Seem like the type of cat you'd like to adopt?
