We have a lot of winter activities this weekend. We also have comedy, sports, music, and wine & chocolate! What more do you need for a fun-filled weekend!

This is the last weekend before Halloween (which is next Wednesday). There are a lot of Halloween themed activities. We also have activities for the dogs this weekend. We have comedy, food, toys, birds of prey, Paula Adbul, and a chance to get rid of any old prescriptions you might have.

LaughFest wraps up this weekend here in Grand Rapids, and what a great ten-days it will have been. These past ten days, I've been featuring some of the top, yet less-known, comedians appearing here.  One of the best, Maria Bamford, was in town last Saturday, and I hope you didn't miss her.

YouTube sensation Miranda Sings brings a hilarious night of comedy, hit songs, magic tricks and never before seen videos to the Wealthy Theatre on Friday night at 7 p.m. as part of Gilda's LaughFest.

Mitch Albom's play 'Ernie', which is based on the life of Ernie Harwell, will make its West Michigan debut this September. The play will open on September 12 at Wealthy Theatre. Opening day performances will include special appearances by nine former Detroit Tigers.  We have the names of those players.
