Toto will celebrate their 40th anniversary with an extensive tour — and a new compilation featuring new music alongside remastered hits.

Nathan East is a rock, R&B and jazz bassist and vocalist who has appeared on more than 2,000 musical releases. You might know the 58-year-old Philadelphia native's work with Toto and Daft Punk, among others. His musical and technical acumen with a bass guitar is landing him a spot in the National Association of Music Merchants' Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Hall of Fame. Read Mo

Former Toto, Trillion and Le Roux singer Dennis "Fergie" Frederiksen died Saturday after a nearly four-year battle with cancer. He was 62 years old. A Grand Rapids native and Central Michigan University-educated, Frederiksen sang on Toto's 1984 "Isolation" album, which featured the hit single "Stranger in Town."
