The freezing rain didn't hit West Michigan as hard as weather forecasters were predicting, but we did still see heavy sleet, high winds, power outages and dangerous travel conditions.

West Michigan made it through last night's storms without too much damage.
Some other areas of the state were not as fortunate.
The storms had winds of over 70 mph and have left over 150,000 without power.
We made it through another summer storm. Outside of a little flooding and power outages, no big deal. Good thing too.
