Every fall, Heart of West Michigan United Way collects elementary school supplies for children in the Schools of Hope Reading Program of Grand Rapids Public Schools, to make sure the students are starting the school year ready to learn. In 2015, 11,596 items with a total value of $15,765 were collected!
