A Michigan State trooper can now add "delivered a baby" to his resume. Sunday morning, an officer from the Hart Post was called to a "medical emergency" on M-82 in Newaygo County. MLive says that due to a language barrier, the trooper did not know what kind of emergency he would be approaching...

UPDATE: WZZM-13 reports that the deceased persons have been identified as Kiristie Wolever, 38, and Thomas Wolever, 49. Police have not yet identified the shooter. The 18-year-old injured in the shooting is Tomas Stableton. He's listed in stable condition.

A Newaygo resident, who has dedicated herself to helping those with mental health issues and the elderly to live with dignity, has been named Michigan Senior Citizen of the Year.

An infant was found alive on the side of West Marion Road in Newaygo County this morning.
