There are several ways to say bye-bye to those annoying mosquitos around your place.

Well, this isn't really a list we wanted to be on, is it? Summer is almost here, and in Michigan, with summer, comes mosquitoes. And Grand Rapids ranks number twelve on the list of top mosquito cities in the United States by the pest control company, Orkin.

Last week I wrote a blog regarding the West Nile Virus, and the seemingly epidemic proportion of it around the country, especially in Dallas, Texas.  At that time, we had 24 confirmed cases in Michigan and we were being cautioned to take care.  There were 5 Kent County cases.  Well today, it's much worse.

It's all over the news, this West Nile virus outbreak.  Texas seems to be the hardest hit, with the community resorting the aerial spraying.  This summer, it is the largest ever, with nearly 1,200 cases reported so far to the Centers for Disease Control.
