Three men from the Chicago area were arrested Saturday in Big Rapids for passing fake bills.

Ottawa County, Spring Lake, Wayland and Wyoming were among 16 municipalities receiving more than $6.6 million to offset local government costs associated with mergers, consolidations, inter-local agreements, and cooperative efforts among municipalities, authorities, and school districts.
