With the recent increase in COVID-19 cases and the rise in prevalence of the Delta variant, the City of Grand Rapids is again requiring employees to wear masks indoors.
Grand Rapids Public Schools are set to begin classes on August 24 and the district is updating families on its CoVid recommendations. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services released new guidance heading into the school year.
This week is seeing many West Michigan businesses slowly get back to normal as the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is allowing workers who had been working remotely, to return to offices and workplaces across the state. The masks are a part of the campaign, “For The Love Of Community”, launched by the City of Grand Haven and the Downtown Development Authority to promote unity, safety, and commerce amid the coronavirus pandemic.
A new mask from a Canadian company, I3 Biomedical Inc., has been proven to be 99% effective at eliminating the virus when it comes into contact with the mask.
This isn't the first announcement from Michigan police that they are at odds with the Governor and will not enforce some of her COVID-19 related policies.
