We just finished Halloween, Thanksgiving is coming up, but along with the rush to the end of the year, Christmas is just around the corner, and that means the annual Santa Claus Parade.

Grand Rapids Children’s Museum celebrated their sixth annual Kids’ ArtFest today during ArtPrize. Children enjoyed live performances, creating art and more!

Grand Rapids Children’s Museum's sixth annual Kids’ ArtFest is Sunday. The free celebration gives kids a chance to create art. There will also be live music, dance performances and presentations.

Two Grand Rapids museums are working to help the victimes of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy.The Grand Rapids Children's Museum and the Grand Rapids Art Museum are both giving a portion of their admission proceeds this Saturday to help build a museum in Newtown.

The Grand Rapids Children's Museum will be celebrating their 15th anniversary with the opening of a brand new "secret" exhibit.  There will also be cake and a ribbon cutting ceremony. They had me at cake.
