Ford Presidential Foundation will host Lynne Cheney as she visits Grand Rapids on April 14 to participate in a luncheon program, America’s First Ladies: An Enduring Legacy, commemorating former first lady Betty Ford’s 97th birthday. Former Vice President Dick Cheney will join his wife at the conversation.

Grand Rapids will host the “9/11 Never Forget” mobile exhibit today through Thursday,  September 9-11, at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. Everyone is encouraged to join alongside GR Police and Fire Departments, Rolling Thunder motorcyclists, The Patriot Guard and Boy Scouts of America to greet the arrival of the exhibit at the Ford Museum. It will arrive around 5:30 this evening.

This Friday, July 11, is the third night of Movies in the Park 2014 at Ah-Nab-Awen Park, in front of the Ford Museum on the Grand River. Sponsored by Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. (DGRI) and Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, Friday's movie is Dreamgirls. It's a film about a trio of female singers’ rise to fame during the Detroit Motown era of the 1960s. (Can you say Supremes?)
