The 2016 Michigan high school football season ends at Ford Field in Detroit this weekend. West Michigan will be well-represented with teams competing for championships in four of the eight divisions.

Central Michigan had a 14 - 13 lead over Minnesota late in the 4th quarter of the Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit, but was not able to stop Minnesota's late drive as the Golden Gophers beat CMU 21 - 14.
