Ferris State University has declined a joint venture to erect a Charlie Kirk statue, citing its policy limiting campus monuments to persons who’ve made tangible, direct contributions to the school.

Colleen Lamoreaux-Tate took over the girls basketball program at Grand Rapids Catholic Central in 2005.  She was previously the head girls basketball coach at East Grand Rapids for 10 years. On Thursday, it was announced that Lamoreaux-Tate will become the sixth head coach in the history of Ferris State University's women's basketball program.
