Ugh, if only scammers took a break during the holidays (or during a pandemic!) - but nope. Michigan's Attorney General Dana Nessel recently issued an alert about scams related to DTE Energy.
Robotics teams from Allendale, Grand Rapids and Grandville will join 10 other middle and high school robotics teams from Michigan and travel to Des Moines, Iowa, to compete in a regional robotics challenge.
The event is co-sponsored by the DTE Energy Foundation and 11 energy companies.
Today, Kelly Clarkson announced a 36-city tour which will start on July 11 in Hershey, Pa., and ends Sept. 20 in Camden, N.J.
The tour will also include at stop at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston on July 26.
West Michigan made it through last night's storms without too much damage.
Some other areas of the state were not as fortunate.
The storms had winds of over 70 mph and have left over 150,000 without power.
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources and DTE Energy Foundation have awarded grants worth over $75,000 to 28 communities in Michigan.
The City of Kentwood was among those awarded money to plant trees.
