Coyotes can be very dangerous to young children and small pets as they are being caught on video attacking at a higher rate than ever.

Well, this isn't something you see every day - or is it?

Gorgeous drone-shot footage captured a coyote dashing across frozen Lake Michigan in Leelanau County at sunset.

The Osborne family in Washington Township got quite a scare Sunday night. Fox 2 reports that Jack Osborne was awakened by the sound of breaking glass. He went to investigate, thinking someone had broken in the house.

The Michigan DNR has announced that the Natural Resources Commission, at its April meeting in Lansing, approved new coyote and nighttime hunting regulations. Effective immediately, coyote hunting season is open year-round in Michigan.

Coyotes can be found anywhere in Michigan, even southern Michigan. They are especially visible during the first few months of the year, their breeding season. Forest Hills resident Becky Bunting saw a coyote near her condo in Forest Hills and has the pictures to prove it.
