Restaurants suddenly closing is starting to become a common theme here in the Grand Rapids area. WOOD-TV reports that Romano's Macaroni Grill, on 28th Street in Cascade, is the latest restaurant to close its doors. There was no notice or announcement to the public made by the establishment, they just randomly closed...

A fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at the Wal-Mart on 28th in Cascade Township. One suspect is now sitting in the Kent County jail.
