Grand Valley State University students have created an 18-foot, solar energy-producing module which will be on display during ArtPrize.

For the first time ever, swing dancers will be taking over downtown Grand Rapids' "Blue Bridge" for one special night of dancing under the stars (well for part of the night, anyway.)
Grand Rapids Original Swing Society start the dancing at 7 p.m. Tuesday, and will continue until 9:30 p.m.
Hope Network is kicking off Autism Awareness month by hosting a bridge walk led by Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley across the Blue Bridge in downtown Grand Rapids to promote awareness of Autism Spectrum disorders.
Last winter it was announced that the Blue Bridge in Grand Rapids would get some new paint.
The color of the new paint was up for debate.
It was decided to keep it blue, but to allow for different colors at night through special lighting.
That special lighting will debut on Friday.
