Elmo, Big Bird and the gang are coming back to Grand Rapids in December.

Well this is a sad, but happy, story. It's the end of an era on Sesame Street as Sonia Manzano, the actress who has played Maria on the PBS children's program for 45 years, is retiring, but happily, of course.

With the movie "Birdman" taking home four Oscars on Sunday night, I thought we should honor "Birdman," err, the real bird man, Caroll Spinney -- Big Bird.

This video parody is so much fun.  Sesame Street and Cookie Monster pull off an awesome parody of the The Hunger Games with The Hungry Games: Catching Fur.

Here's some Saturday morning fun for you. Jimmy Fallon and the music group, Roots, invited their pals from Sesame Street for a song fest.  It's so much fun, and one of the "happiest" videos out there.

I love the Muppets, don't you?  I mean, who DOESN'T like the Muppets.  And, Cookie Monster is one of my favorites.
