BaCon: A Bacon & Beer Celebration is returning for its second annual event in November at The DeltaPlex Arena & Conference Center. BaCon features bacon-inspired dishes and drinks, with tickets going on sale this morning for the Nov. 8 celebration.

We know times have been tough over the last five years. The economy is still recovering from the effects of the housing market crash and the Great Recession. However, it would appear that things were so bad for a suspect in North Dakota that he or she resorted to breaking into a home in search of bacon.

We get all kinds of email, some real, much spam.  And, of course, with spam, you just get rid of it, right?  I do.  I usually just mass-delete all of the stuff. I do, however, read the lead, or headline and subject to make sure I'm not deleting something that is legitimate.  And, when I read this one with  the subject "Bacon Shaving Cream," they had me hooked.
