GRPD Officer Helps Shovel Elderly Resident’s Driveway

We’ve gotten a lot of snow in the last couple days, yeah I know “we’re Michigan. This is normal” but it’s still a royal pain; especially when you shovel and then 3 hours later, you need to shovel again.

Thursday afternoon the Grand Rapids Police Department posted on their Facebook page about Sgt. Jim Wojczynski who was “caught” by his partner, while he was helping a 95-year-old neighbor shovel her driveway.

The best part is, the post actually thanks all the other neighbors who regularly help out their neighbors, whether it be shoveling their driveway or just checking up on them. It’s important to remember that we’re all in this together, and it’s part of life to give back and help out.
