Blandford Nature Center has a sweet deal for maple syrup fans.

This Saturday, Blandford Nature Center is offering a workshop to teach the fine art of making maple syrup.

I have long been a fan of REAL maple syrup.  It's expensive, but delicious.

But, there is a way to save money on maple syrup, which doesn't involve Mrs. Butterworth. Make your own.

This Saturday, Blandford Nature Center is teaching how to harvest and process your own maple syrup at a special workshop.

The workshop runs from 10:00am - 4:00pm on March 2.  Cost is $40 for members and $48 for non-members.  The workshop is designed for adults and older teens.

Space is limited.  If you'd like to attend call 616-735-6240 or email katie@blandfordnaturecenter.org.

And if you do attend, then make your own syrup...don't be shy about sharing.
